Welcome to Second Baptist

I have had the privilege of being your Pastor for over 20 years. I have conducted over 100 weddings, preached 80 funerals, dedicated at least 100 babies, delivered over 3000 sermons and prayed for you without ceasing. Joyce and I have been blessed to live in the home you provide for us 20 years out of our 46 years together. Our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, think its Grandmamma and Granddaddy’s house. With all the Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthday gatherings, it has become home to them. When I look through the pages of the directory it reminds me of how much we love and appreciate you. I am also reminded of the ones who are missing from these pages. Many are at home with our Lord and Savior, some have moved out of the community or state, others are now attending various church. However, all of them and you are in my heart.
